Netflix is bringing a fresh spin to reality dating with Pop the Balloon Live, a high-energy dating experiment adapted from the popular YouTube series created by Arlette Amuli. The live show is set to premiere on April 10, airing every Thursday at 8 p.m. ET.
The concept? Singles will test their chemistry while keeping their balloons intact. As emotions run high and connections form, one thing remains certain—when a balloon pops, so does a contestant’s shot at love.
Originally launched on YouTube, Pop The Balloon or Find Love has captivated audiences with nearly 50 episodes and over 100 million views. Now, Netflix is giving the series a new stage, continuing its strategy of adapting viral digital content for a wider audience. This move follows the platform’s recent partnership with British content creators The Sidemen for their hit series Inside.
The Netflix version of Pop the Balloon Live will be hosted by Insecure star Yvonne Orji, bringing her signature wit and charm to the show. The cast will feature reality TV personalities, including Johnny Bananas (The Challenge), Chase DeMoor (Too Hot to Handle), Farrah Abraham (Teen Mom), and Zaina Sesay (The Ultimatum).
