Sliqe, born Lutendo Kungoane, is a DJ, producer and radio personality of Venda descent who grew up in the south of Johannesburg. He released his first single in 2015 – Do Like I Do – featuring Kwesta,  the track was an instant hit, garnering major airplay on numerous South African radio stations and being included in numerous DJ’s sets. The single was really a huge success that Sliqe went on to record a remix to it, with L-Tido, Riky Rick, Reason, Nadia Nakai and Flabba. His latest project is the sophomore album Injayam, Vol. 2, following the success of Vol 1.

Elzo Jamdong is a Senegalese rapper, versatile in rap and singing, his particularity of kicking his rap lyrics and singing with ease. The extracts from the mixtape are played on the radio and in clubs and the clips are immediately broadcast on TV.. His latest release is free season 2.

Kida Kudz is a Nigerian born and UK raper  knew as the winner of the second season of Peak Talent show nearly seven years ago. However, his newest release marks a  switch from rap to a mix of Afropop/Dancehall and rap wave sweeping through the UK Afrobeats scene.

Kadja is one of the pioneers of ivorian rap scene. He is now signed to  Shado Chris label “aura corp”, one of the dopest producers in Ivory coast. A real kicker, he offers a Rap that mixes Ivorian sounds, like the musical genre “Zouglou” and “coupé décalé”, he does rap in the “nouchi” in the slang of the country.

$pacely is a Ghanaian rapper and singer. He is a member of trap music collective “La Meme Gang” who features darkovibes, Kiddblack, RJZ, Kwaku BS & Nxwrth. He released his debut EP Fine$$e or Be Fine$$ed in 2019, which features songs like “Somimu” and “Uber” featuring Cina Soul and Joey B respectively.

Gemini Major, is a Malawian-born South African record producer and singer-songwriter. 2013 was a key year to Major, he moved to Johannesburg, met Cassper Nyovest at a video shoot for a song that Major had produced, he joined the Family Tree team, an independent South African label. After the release of Nasty C’s hit single “Juice Back“, Major has become the go-to producer for some of South Africa’s leading hip hop artists.
